Scale replicas of prehistoric and living animals, modelled and painted entirely by hand at 1:20. Each piece begins with a morphological study of the species — skeletal proportions, musculature and, for extinct fauna, the published palaeontological evidence — before any clay is touched.
The original is sculpted in heat-hardened clay over a wire armature, moulded in silicone and cast in polyurethane resin. Every copy is then cleaned, retouched and painted by hand in acrylics, which is why no two pieces leave the workshop strictly identical. All are made to order.
