A sculpted and painted groundwork base designed to hold the Haast’s eagle and giant moa figures in their predation pose. Sold separately so that collectors who already own the two birds can complete the scene, and finished to match the New Zealand forest floor.

About this piece

Modelled by hand in heat-hardened clay over a wire armature, moulded in silicone and cast in polyurethane resin. Every copy is cleaned, retouched and painted by hand in acrylics, so no two pieces are ever strictly identical.
