Iberian Imperial Eagle, reconstructed at 1:18-1:20 scale and hand-painted in polyurethane resin. 150 × 164 mm. Sculpted by J. Miguel Aparicio, made to order.
One of the rarest raptors on Earth, restricted almost entirely to the dehesas of central and southern Spain. This piece is composed as a scene rather than a single figure, showing the pair together and the distinctive white shoulder flash that separates the Iberian imperial eagle from its eastern cousin.
Modelled by hand in heat-hardened clay over a wire armature, moulded in silicone and cast in polyurethane resin. Every copy is cleaned, retouched and painted by hand in acrylics, so no two pieces are ever strictly identical.
Made to order. Each casting is finished individually, so please allow time for preparation before dispatch.
