A giant land tortoise with a shell approaching two metres, native to Miocene Iberia rather than to islands — a reminder that gigantism in tortoises was once a continental phenomenon. The carapace texture and growth rings are worked scute by scute.
Produced by photogrammetry from the original 1:20 sculpture and printed in resin at 1:35. Supplied unpainted and lightly sanded to remove support marks, ready for priming. Larger figures are printed hollow to keep weight down, with small drainage holes on the underside that are easily filled before painting.
