The defining animal of the Ice Age steppe, and at 30 centimetres long the largest single figure in the 1:20 collection. The domed skull, small ears and the fat hump behind the head all follow the frozen Siberian specimens. The great spiralling tusks of an old bull are the piece’s centrepiece.
Modelled by hand in heat-hardened clay over a wire armature, moulded in silicone and cast in polyurethane resin. Every copy is cleaned, retouched and painted by hand in acrylics, so no two pieces are ever strictly identical.
The tusks are supplied separately and are not glued, to protect them in transit.
Made to order. Each casting is finished individually, so please allow time for preparation before dispatch.
