Haast’s Eagle and Moa Scene, reconstructed at 1:20 scale and hand-painted in polyurethane resin. Sculpted by J. Miguel Aparicio, made to order.
The complete predation scene: Haast’s eagle striking a giant moa, mounted and glued on its sculpted base. It reconstructs an event documented in the fossil record, where moa pelvis bones carry puncture marks matching the eagle’s talons. Supplied assembled and ready to display.
Modelled by hand in heat-hardened clay over a wire armature, moulded in silicone and cast in polyurethane resin. Every copy is cleaned, retouched and painted by hand in acrylics, so no two pieces are ever strictly identical.
Supplied painted and glued, mounted on its base and ready to display.
Made to order. Each casting is finished individually, so please allow time for preparation before dispatch.
