Megalodon Scene, large, reconstructed at 1:20 scale and hand-painted in polyurethane resin. 1100 × 450 mm. Sculpted by J. Miguel Aparicio, made to order.
The centrepiece of the collection and, at 1.1 metres long, by far the largest work offered. Megalodon reached perhaps 18 metres and remains known almost entirely from teeth and vertebrae, so the reconstruction leans on the proportions of living lamnid sharks. Supplied unglued for shipping and assembled by the collector.
Modelled by hand in heat-hardened clay over a wire armature, moulded in silicone and cast in polyurethane resin. Every copy is cleaned, retouched and painted by hand in acrylics, so no two pieces are ever strictly identical.
Supplied unglued. The scene is assembled by the collector on arrival.
Made to order. Each casting is finished individually, so please allow time for preparation before dispatch.
